Its price after applying all the offers is 40,999 INR, and its specifications are great. But how does it perform during gaming?
I used this phone for a few day and now I show how it performs after doing heavy tasks, playing different games like BGMI, PUBG, COD, Free Fire and also battery & graphics test since the last few days.

Processor & Performance:
The iQOO 15r delivered flagship-level BGMI gaming performance, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 (3 nm) chipset and Adreno 829 GPU, with an Antutu score of 3137421. It is capable of running the BGMI game at smooth + Ultra Extreme 120fps settings, providing a stable, consistent frame rate without lag or heating issues during extended gaming sessions.
Display & Touch
This phone has a 6.59-inch high-brightness 10-bit screen (5000 nits) paired with a 144Hz refresh rate and 3200Hz Instant Touch sampling rate for fast, responsive touch input during gaming.
BGMI Setting & FPS
During my one-hour BGMI gameplay, iQOO 15r delivered an impressive performance with the smooth + Ultra Extreme setting 120FPS graphics and “Ultra HDR + Ultra 60FPS graphics setting.
BGMI Gameplay Experience
I experienced minimal lag and no significant heating issues. It maintained a consistent frame rate, delivering 117-121 FPS during TDM matches and 114-119 FPS on Erangel, Sanhok, and Livik matches.

Frame Drop: Occasionally, frame rates drop below 100fps, especially during jumps and heavy combat. But it quickly returned to its previous version.
Thermal Management: The iQOO 15R features a massive 6.5K (or 6500mm²) Ice Core VC Cooling Chamber, paired with a dual-layer graphite sheet, designed to reduce temperatures by 15°C during intense gaming. Max temperature reached 42.2°C after 30 minutes in BGMI. But it does not give an uncomfortable feel,
Battery Drain: This phone features a large 7600 mAh battery. In a one-hour gaming session, the iQOO 15r show a battery drop of roughly 16%. It means you can play 6-7hour gaming on a single charge.

This has a 32MP front camera and a 50MP rear camera, indicating it is not just a gaming device
Software: This phone runs on Origin OS 6, which is smooth, lightweight and provides a fluid experience. It enhances your overall gaming performance.

With the Q2 dedicated gaming chip ensures stable, smooth, and responsive gameplay with minimal frame drops during long sessions.

It handles maximum graphics smoothly, maintains stability via a 6.5K VC cooling system, and remains relatively cool (low 40s°C) during extended sessions

Genshin Impact Performance Highlights:
- Performance: Consistently high frame rates at maximum graphics settings, supported by LPDDR5X Ultra RAM and UFS 4.1 storage.
- Frame Interpolation: Q2 chip enables up to 144 FPS in Genshin Impact, though it may cause minor artefacts, leading some users to prefer native high settings.
- Low/Medium Setting: This setting delivered an average of 55-60FPS, and sometimes frame rate drops during intense combat.
- High/Max Setting: Consistently hits 58.6 FPS at high settings, even during intensive combat, with temperatures kept low (around 42°C).
Overall, for the best gaming experience user should use High/Max Settings. We do not test 144FPS gaming using Frame Interpolation mode.
iQOO 15r Free Fire Gaming Performance
The iQOO 15r is designed for high-performance gaming, featuring a dedicated Q2 Supercomputing Chip capable of pushing Free Fire to 144 FPS through frame interpolation. But this game supports only 90FPS gaming with Max + High graphics settings. My one-hour gameplay fps drop 1% and delivered a consistent 89FPS without lag.
