The Moto Edge 60 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 (4 nm) chipset, which delivers average performance. Because it is a 4nm processor designed for mid-range 5G devices for day-to-day life tasks and casual gaming.
Honestly, this processor is good for casual gaming; it can handle 60fps BGMI and CoD Mobile gaming, with Genshin Impact supporting 45fps gameplay. I haven’t seen any lag throughout my gameplay and day-to-day normal tasks.

Every good gaming smartphone requires good graphics hardware for a better gaming experience, and the Edge 60 Pro has a decent gaming GPU. The Motorola Edge 60 is equipped with an ARM Mali-G615 MC2 GPU, ideal for 60fps gaming and providing a smooth frame rate stability.
This phone’s touch response is excellent; it has a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a 1200Hz instant touch rate for specific games like BGMI, etc

The Moto Edge 60 has UFS 2.2 storage. At this price UFS-2.2 storage type is not a value for money option. Some other Brands like iQOO Neo 10R use UFS 3.1 at this price. But this phone software experience is excellent, and its storage read and write scores are good, while we compared it the other smartphones.
UFS-2.2 storage supports fast File transfers, copy-paste actions, downloading, and transferring files from other devices through the Easy Share option, working quickly.

The Moto Edge 60 has a 120Hz pOLED AMOLED screen with HDR10+ visual quality support for smooth visuals and vibrant colours, with a 240Hz touch sampling rate. But the 300-plus touch rate is best for gaming. However, its touch-responsive time is excellent in BGMI and CoD Mobile.
The 4500 nits peak brightness and 1500 nits HBM provide better outdoor visibility. When I play games and do other tasks in outdoors, it delivers excellent visibility and it enhances our overall gaming performance.
It has a Widewile L1 support for HDR10+ content display. It supports HDR video on YouTube, but now it doesn’t support HDR on Netflix videos and other platforms.
Moto Edge 60- Network, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and Speaker
- During our long gaming session, the Edge 60′s strong network and 5G VoNR capabilities significantly boosted gaming performance.
- Its Bluetooth v5.4 and Wi-Fi 6E work great with no connectivity issues. Bluetooth supports A2DP and LE connection, providing excellent bass and clear sound quality.
- It has dual stereo speakers and its sound quality is great, but the 3.5mm headphone jack is not available; you can connect earbuds or a Type-C audio jack.

During my one-hour BGMI gaming session on the Motorola Edge 60 5G, I experienced smooth performance with the ‘Smooth + Extreme’ settings, and it offered the best 60fps gameplay.
- Performance: It gives a smooth gameplay and delivers an average of 55 to 60FPS during TDM matches. And 51 to 61fps is delivered in classic matches on the Erangel, Sanhok, and Livik maps.
- Frame Drop: gameplay time occasionally frame rates drop below 35fps, especially during jumps and heavy combat. But the Moto Edge 60 quickly returned to its smooth performance.
- Thermals: Max temperature reached 39.7°C after 30 minutes. The phone gets warm but not uncomfortably hot, thanks to its vegan leather design and improved vapour cooling chamber.
- Battery Drain: Additionally, the battery drain was 9% after 47 minutes of play, and the phone is not uncomfortably hot, even on the highest settings gameplay.

- The battery drain was 15% after 45 minutes of play, and the phone remained cool even with the highest settings.
- You can play games for 4 to 5 hours and perform any heavy tasks. For normal day-to-day life with social apps, it can last one day easily.
